Earlier this year, I had the good fortune to be introduced to Courtney Self. We belong to a referral group, which meets weekly, and later participated in Leadership Torrance. My wife and I have lived in the South Bay since 1979, living in the Miraleste area for over 20 years. In 1991 we moved to Palm Springs and began splitting our time between both locales. It became clear that renting an apartment locally was not making the best use of the tax code. I mentioned to Courtney that Mrs. Marshall and I would like to consider purchasing a property locally. We set out the parameters and met with Courtney. Over the next several weeks, we were kept advised of all new listings within our area of interest. Most times we were able to schedule viewings within hours of our request. Courtney conducted herself in a courteous and professional manner.
While traveling with the Leadership Torrance program in Sacramento, I observed Courtney returning and taking calls through our rather busy schedule.
I have been in business for more than 40 years. At one point in my career the largest association I handled was The Cal. Real Estate Assn. (CREA in those days) and I had the opportunity to do business with over a thousand Realtors. In Courtney and her partner, you are blessed with two top-notch professionals. They made our experience a comfortable one, in very tough market conditions, Mrs. Marshall and I are very thankful for their courtesies extended at every turn.
